Kentucky Avenue School is a small, vibrant independent school located in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood.
Kentucky Avenue School serves diverse students from kindergarten through eighth grade. We offer small classes, a child-friendly environment, skilled teaching, and a challenging curriculum conveyed through both traditional and innovative methods.
Kentucky Avenue School sponsors an aftercare program in which our students can tackle their homework and enjoy supervised socializing, snacks, sports, and free play. We share our building with the Kentucky Avenue Children’s Center, which provides warm, expert, developmentally appropriate care in preschool and pre-kindergarten programs.
