Kentucky Avenue School is a small, vibrant, independent school located in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood. KAS serves diverse students from kindergarten through eighth grade. We offer small classes, a child-friendly environment, skilled teaching, and a challenging curriculum conveyed through both traditional and innovative methods. KAS is a Let's Move Champion School and has the only lunch program in the area that prepares and serves fresh and healthy lunches on site. KAS Clubs will be offered after school from 3:15pm to 5:30pm.

The school day begins at 8:15 a.m. and concludes at 3:15 p.m. Extended day is offered until 5:30 p.m.
