The Enright Garden is the product of a unique collaboration between Kentucky Avenue School, Whole Foods Market, and neighbors at the end of South St. Clair Street in East Liberty. Once an abandoned lot, the space was transformed into a community garden in 2008. Students from KAS have the opportunity to use the garden for our science curriculum, service learning, and enriching outdoor time. Produce from the garden is sold at summer farmer's markets hosted by Whole Foods and used in the KAS Kentucky Cafe lunch program.

KAS is a Let's Move Pittsburgh Seed Grant Recipient Winner!
